First Blog!

Hello! Welcome to my first ever blog post. Thanks for reading.. no wait, come back! I'll be interesting I promise. Well... I'll try. Blogging seems quite strange to me and I do feel a little hypocritical writing one as I'm sure at some point in the past I've oldishly grumbled about everything being online these days and nobody having any privacy etc..

As a fairly regular diary keeper throughout my life, the thought has crossed my mind that bloggers are just attention seeking diary keepers.. I've certainly been guilty of fantasising about people reading my diaries in years to come and thinking to themselves how amusing/ intelligent/ insightful I really was...and with a blog people don't have to wait for the posthumous attention. One can just ramble on to one's self indulgent content, stick it out into the ether and hope people read it. Well here I am.

Expect posts on travel, art, food, being a twenty something, and anything else I happen to find interesting that week. I'm hoping that some of you will find my thoughts interesting, amusing and thought provoking- let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas of your own!
