Cornwall

Just thought I would write a little post about our recent trip to Cornwall! As J and I are both self- employed, it is very hard to manage to find a day that we both have off, so when we realised that if we each just cancelled one thing, we had four whole days, we thought we should take advantage!

One of the wonderful things about where we live on the edge of Exmoor, is how easy it is to visit some of the most beautiful spots in England (in my opinion!). So we chucked a tent in the car and two and a bit hours later, arrived in beautiful Perranporth. We were extremely lucky with the weather, and it really felt like a holiday when we immediately headed down to the beach in the 30 degree sunshine, which continued for the next couple of days which were filled with sandy beaches, LOADS of jellyfish!, ciders, mussels, art galleries galore in St Ives, ice creams and two terrible nights' sleep in the tent (we gave up and went to a lovely Air BnB for the last night)!
