SILHOUETTES
I adore light and the stories that a simple silhouette can tell. Ink lends itself beautifully to creating shadows as seen in the 'Dark Skies' series. This was one of my first collections, celebrating the beautiful wildlife and starry skies of Exmoor in a unique way.
Since moving back to the coast, I ventured into painting human forms for the first time and the surf silhouettes were born, a minimalist ink and water series, evoking nostalgic memories of sun bleached days... Both series were a limited edition run of prints, some of which are still available.
I can also create bespoke painting in these styles for you- either a favourite animal or an image of your family and friends enjoying the surf!
